What we collect

We collect only what we need to route your request to a contractor:

• What you give us: your name, phone number, email address if you provide one, the service you need and anything you type into the message field.
• What your browser sends: standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and the site or ad that sent you here.

We do not ask for and do not want your payment card details, bank details, Social Security number or any other government identifier. Never send those through this website.

Why we collect it

• To contact you about the job you asked about.
• To pass your request to an independent licensed contractor who can carry out the work.
• To measure which pages and ads bring people to the site, so we know what is working.
• To meet our legal and record keeping obligations.

Who we share it with

We share your contact details and job description with the independent contractor we refer you to, because they cannot call you back otherwise. We also use ordinary service providers such as hosting and analytics companies, who handle data on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Once your details reach a contractor, that contractor handles them under their own privacy practices. They are a separate business and we do not control their systems.

Calls and messages

By giving us your phone number you agree that we or the contractor we refer you to may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small amount of local browser storage to keep track of where a visit came from. If analytics is enabled, it records aggregate page views and interactions. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to service your request and to meet our legal obligations, then we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the number on this site and tell us what you want done. We will not charge you for asking and we will not make it difficult.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
